We are Woodnote, a family-run cabinetmakers and furniture-crafting business based in the heart of the Pennines. Timeless hardwood furniture is our speciality, and we will only ever settle for quality. This is why each piece we create is designed, made and installed by our own hand. 

Kitchens

Designing and making bespoke kitchens is where it all began for us. Crafting a beautiful kitchen means considering how it looks in the home, but also how it feels to use. We believe a kitchen needs to work for the space it is in, and we will collaborate with you on every aspect of your kitchen to strike a balance between elegance and practicality that meets your needs. We love the journey from concept to completion and everything that comes in between.

Media Units

Media units are a wonderful use of space, offering an excellent way to create more storage and organise a wall or make the most of an alcove. We design and build bespoke media units in homes of all shapes and sizes - whether in a new build or a Victorian townhouse, these fitted cabinets always look the part. Media units are one of our favourite pieces to make and we are always happy to have a chat about potential design options.

Furniture

Handmade furniture just feels different. Having something designed in just the right dimensions for the room has the ability to elevate everything around it. For example, a bespoke oak table designed around the chairs that you already own means that the two are going to marry together just right. A vanity unit designed with both functionality and beauty in mind means you never have to comprimise when it comes to furniture again.

From our workshop in the Pennines we work with residential and commercial clients to deliver cabinets and furniture that is made to last.

We greet every new project as a new chance to make our mark with something beautiful. We understand that no two spaces are the same, that’s why we work closely with our clients throughout the design process to fully understand their needs and create a piece they can enjoy the most use from.

From bedside tables to sprawling kitchens, we work on projects of all sizes and each one is equally important to us. Having worked across a breadth of commisions, we’re always open to ideas and inspiration - wherever it may come from.

Renovating or refurbishing is often a stressful time and we like to help out wherever we can. We can offer our own team of trusted tradespeople and contribute as much or as little as is needed towards the overall project.

Having our little workshop nestled in the Pennines sets us in a perfect place to cover a wide area. We work from Ilkley to the Ribble Valley, from Skipton to Harrogate and beyond.

We often start with a phone call and a site visit, during which time we can show you a vast array of samples alongside a larger gallery of completed projects to provide you with some further inspiration.
